Import/Export Specialist – Overview

Celestica seeks an experienced Import/Export Specialist to manage export shipments, customs compliance, logistics data analysis, carrier selection, border crossing process development, and supply chain leadership.

• Ensures export shipments and documentation comply with applicable customs laws.
• Acts as a liaison with customs offices.
• Collects and analyzes logistics data for trends and potential cost savings.
• Evaluates and selects carriers for shipment of product.
• Analyzes freight data for internal and external charges and interfaces with customers to identify billing information.
• Responsible for process development and reengineering related to border crossings.
