Position Overview

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Indigenous Midwife (Registered Midwife or Aboriginal Midwife practicing under exemption clause of Midwifery Act, 1991) will deliver culturally safe, coordinated and continuous pregnancy and infant care for expectant families. The Indigenous Midwife will also provide outreach and education in communities to support youth and expectant families to make informed choices around reproductive care.
