Our client based in the North West Province is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Hole Rig Operators. This role is accountable for the safe operation, set-up and tramming of the HPS H80 LHR, achieving established daily operational targets, give training, recording prescribed operational data and reports, ensuring maintenance of rig and related equipment HPS equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains Safety, Health and Environmental practices according to standards and procedures.
• Performing proper machine setup procedures.
• Carries out a pre-use inspection by using a checklist and physically testing the equipment.
• Drills required holes using the relevant drill rig according to set standards and procedures, diagnoses problem areas and reports any safety concerns to relevant Supervisor e.g., flammable gas detection, bad ground conditions, ventilati...
