2026-2027 Spare Bus Driver

We are accepting applications for following: Position: Spare School Bus Drivers Location: Edson, Lobstick, Grande Cache and Hinton Zones Start Date: Immediately, or upon mutually agreeable start date. Training courses are offered each month for those who require it. The competition will remain open throughout the 2026-2027 school calendar year. SUMMARY: Safely transporting students to and from school, as a replacement for Permanent Full-Time School Bus Drivers. Spare Drivers are employed by the Division on a day to day basis. If you have an exceptional driving record AND you love children, we offer: Part-time hours Complimentary Class 2 training Summers, weekends and holidays off Parents may take their pre-school child to work with them Opportunity for advancement QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Class 5 Driver’s license Physical ability to perform required duties, and pass a functional assessment.
