Job Description
- Preparing, cooking, and plating various wok-style dishes, including fried rice, noodles, vegetables, and meats.
- Following standardized recipes, portion sizes, and cooking techniques established by the head chef/ Wok 1 Chef, to maintain quality and consistency
- Working with a sense of urgency to handle high-volume production during busy lunch and dinner rushes.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe wok station at all times.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and food handling guidelines
- Preparing ingredients, sauces, and station setups before service.
- Monitoring stock levels of ingredients, restocking, and reporting shortages to management.
- Cleaning and maintaining wok station equipment, and reporting any broken items.
- Communicating effectively with other kitchen stations to ensure timely, coordinated service.
- Assisting in training junior staff or rookies in wok techniques.
