3D Engineer

Job description:

• Develops detailed manufacturing drawings using Solidworks and AutoCad softwares. Assist counterpart designers in creating details out of the original designs.
• Closely coordinates with designer/ customer with regards to new design and design change requirements of products.
• Handles and Coordinates new product development.
• Ensures completeness and correctness of drawings during trial/ development stage using a standard checklist as guide.
• Ensures updated drawings and solidworks files are saved in the Eng'g folder.
• Evaluates new materials, parts or components. Provides assistance in identifying and evaluating alternative parts.
• Monitors progress of newly developed products and coordinates with production and production engineering for some adjustments.
• Ensures On-time completion of drawings based on target/ standard leadtime.
• Ensures readiness of drawings in server before production.
