3rd Class Engineer with Northumberland Ferries

In this full-time position, you’ll maintain machinery and oversee operational duties as part of our dedicated team. Engaged in essential services from May to December, you will report to the Engineer of the Watch and lead maintenance activities while supervising Oilers. Fostering a culture of safety and compliance is a priority at NFL.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute machinery maintenance and overhauls as instructed
• Perform assigned watches in Engine Control Room/Engine Room
• Update and manage planned maintenance systems
• Ensure adherence to pollution control regulations
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Oilers
