Adept are recruiting on behalf of a serious engineering business based in Middlesbrough.

This isn't light machining.
This is high precision work on centrifugally cast components supplying Aerospace, Defence, Energy and Chemical sectors.

If you're a proper time served CNC machinist who can set and run machines to tight tolerances, this is worth your attention.

The Role

You will be:

Setting and operating CNC Turning and/or Milling machines

Programming jaws, fixtures and small batch runs

Proving out first-off components alongside Production Engineering

Running batch work to SOPs and routing instructions

Machining alloy steels, nickel-based alloys, super alloys, stainless and duplex materials

Carrying out in-process inspection and first-off checks
