The following temporary position is open for applications:CHILD & YOUTHCARE WORKER CUPE Competition No. 6179Location: District – South Temporary: Immediately to June 26, 2026, or return of Incumbent, whichever occurs firstHours: 8 hours per day, for all days school is in session for studentsRate of Pay: $33.04/hour Duties & Responsibilities:Under the general direction of the Director of Instruction: Learning Services (with a functional reporting relationship with school principals), provides guidance, ongoing assistance, encouragement and support to vulnerable students in developing and achieving positive behaviour supports, personal and life skill goals through accessing approved district and community programs. Assignment will be to support students primarily with their emotional needs and to make connections and collaborate with families and community agencies in order to provide further support for the students.
