The following temporary position is open for applications:CUSTODIAN CUPE Competition No. 6187Location: District - South Howe Sound Secondary School / Valleycliffe Elementary SchoolTemporary: Immediately to April 20, 2026, or return of Incumbent, whichever occurs first Hours: 4.5 hours per day, 12 months per year (Howe Sound Secondary) 2.5 hours per day, 12 months per year (Valleycliffe Elementary)Pay: $30.47 per hourDuties & Responsibilities:General cleaning of schools as assigned by the General Manager of Operations, which includes lifting of miscellaneous furniture, changing lights, operation of motorized cleaning equipment, knowledge of chemicals and application of floor coatings and attention to building security.Qualifications:Completion of Grade 10 plus relevant courses/workshops and up to and including three (3) months related experience or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
