6th Grade Homeroom Teacher – Saint Hilary School

Description

: We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the teaching position of a 6th grade homeroom teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full time position which entails teaching 6th grade religion, 6th and 7th grade English Language Arts (ELA), and 6th grade history in a self-contained modified home room model.
Qualifications:

● Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree

● Must possess a valid California Teaching Credential, have an equivalent teaching credential from another state, or be working towards earning one.

● Be an effective teacher of core subjects: Religion, ELA, and History

● Class Management skills

● Demonstrated communication skills with parents, faculty and students

● Previous experience in working with middle school students in a Catholic school is ideal.

● Knowledge of Common Core and State Standards and able to implement successfully.
