Aakom-Kiyii Health Services - Registered Nurse (RN)

General Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers direct clinical care and wellness support for participants at Aakom-Kiyii Health Services (AKHS). This includes providing nursing assessments, medication administration, and detox support, while also participating in community health promotion. Guided by trauma-informed and culturally protected practices, the RN plays a central role in client care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care including assessments, wound care, and medication administration
• Support clients during detox, monitoring vitals and managing withdrawal symptoms
• Collaborate with medical and wellness teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation
• Participate in health promotion and outreach events
• Assist with intake and discharge planning for detox clients
