Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Develop and actively work to maintain a current knowledge of the academic rules and procedures of the University (including processes involving Admissions, the Office of the Registrar, major departments, etc.), Conference, and the NCAA .

+ Maintain a working knowledge of university systems, including but not limited to: Slate, DegreeWorks, Connect/ EAB , Banner, academic petitions, etc.

+ Identify those student-athletes who fall into the category of academically high risk and refer them to the Learning Specialist.

+ Assist assigned student-athletes with course selection and eligibility requirements for both major/minors and NCAA eligibility.

+ For students who are at risk, meet on a regular basis to develop and carry out individualized academic plans in...
