Overview

The Academic Advising department at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Academic Advisor position.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic advising to students, guiding academic planning and ongoing support.
• Assist with degree and major requirements, and class scheduling; document outcomes and referrals.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Academic Advising Operations and the Admissions Office to schedule registration events.
• Inform students of academic processes such as add/drop, withdrawals, and appeals, and communicate outcomes with faculty mentors.
• Counsel students experiencing academic difficulty; refer them to appropriate support offices and record interactions.
• Provide proactive assistance to students on academic warning, probation, and suspension.
• Conduct outreach to unregistered and stopped‑out students in collaboration with campus offices.
