About the role

Sellmax Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Clerk to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing data entry and maintaining financial records, such as invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconciling bank statements and accounts
  • Preparing and processing payroll and expense reports
  • Generating financial reports and statements
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Account Clerk or in a similar role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
