ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

Responsibilities

• Processing insurance/TPA claims for patients, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation.
• Liaise with TPAs to follow up on claim status, approvals and reimbursements.
• Verify claim eligibility, supporting documents and policy coverage before submission to TPAs.
• Maintain and update claim records, databases and tracking reports for management review.
• Reconcile monthly statements and payments with TPAs to ensure accuracy of accounts.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies, queries, or delays related to TPA claims.
• Support the account team in preparing reports related to TPA claims, trends and expenditure analysis.
• Coordinate with internal departments (operation and account) to collect necessary information for claims processing.
• Perform other ad hoc accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.
