Account Officer

The Loan Assistant / Account Officer is responsible for assisting in the processing, monitoring, and management of loan accounts of cooperative members. The position ensures accurate documentation, proper evaluation, timely release, and effective monitoring of loans in accordance with cooperative policies, regulatory requirements, and sound credit practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

A. Loan Processing and Documentation

• Assist members in loan application procedures and explain loan products, terms, and requirements.
• Receive, review, and validate loan applications and supporting documents.
• Prepare loan documents such as promissory notes, disclosure statements, and loan contracts.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of loan records before endorsement for approval.
