Account Officer – Fixed Asset at AT Ghana

JOB FUNCTION:

• The successful candidate will join our team as an Account Officer for Fixed Assets in the Finance Department. • This individual will report to the Fixed Assets Manager and will be responsible capitalizing all assets that meet the capitalization criteria as per policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an Assets addition report at each reporting date.

• Initiate and process asset write offs as per policy and International Financial Reporting Standards

• Reconcile Fixed Asset Register with General Ledger

• Prepare all relevant Property Plant and Equipment Disclosure Schedules

• Process fixed assets disposal as per company policy and applicable IFRS Standard

• Maintain a Schedule for Capital Work in Progress balances.

• Provide for impairment on for CWIP items as per policy.

• Assess, process and Asset Retirement Obligation where required.
