Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Accountant to join our team in Alta, Norway. This is a contract job with a salary of $1700 per month. This position does not require prior experience. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Verify the accuracy of transactions and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Conduct month‑end close procedures and prepare financial reports for management.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data entry.
