Job Description
Join Poundmaker’s Lodge Treatment Centres as a Senior Accountant, supporting financial operations for Indigenous holistic addiction treatment. Manage budgeting, audits, and financial reporting in this essential role.
This position requires expertise in accounting principles and significant experience. You will handle variance analysis, coordinate audits with funders, and oversee accounts payable and receivable. Providing financial insights to leadership will support informed decision-making and contribute to the organization’s impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare budgets and conduct variance analysis
• Perform daily and month-end accounting tasks
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with auditors
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes
• Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Requirements:
• Completed CPA designation or in progress
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Sage 50 accounting software
