Accountant - client accounting services

Makosi is partnering with a global client to recruit a high-calibre Client Accounting Services Accountant to support international finance teams. This role is ideally suited to a CA(SA) who completed their articles at a Big 4 firm and has strong exposure to US GAAP, accounting preparation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and draft monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Perform end-to-end accounting activities, including journals, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Support and prepare group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and reporting packs.
Maintain and review general ledger accuracy using Quick Books and related accounting systems.
Prepare audit-ready schedules and liaise with external auditors.
Utilise Case Ware for financial statement drafting and reporting.
Assist with technical accounting matters and GAAP conversions where required.
