Accountant Collector

About this Position The Accountant Collector will be responsible for managing the entire collection cycle, from sending account statements and monitoring customer portals to ensure timely payment scheduling, to applying funds received via bank transfers. The role requires rigorous follow-up and strong communication skills to negotiate discounts, resolve deductions, and ensure that customers comply with established agreements, thereby maintaining the financial health of accounts.

What you’ll do

• Recover the value of credit sales in the period authorized by the company from customers under its responsibility.
• Answer incoming phone calls from customers and sales reps giving information regarding the account (overdue balance, open items, payments received, etc.)
• Match open items on customers accounts to keep the account “tidy“ (credit notes with debits, customer charges or other open items).
