Job Description
Support nonprofits across PEI as an Accountant with the Community Sector Network of PEI. In this hybrid full-time role, you will lead the In-House Bookkeeping initiative and ensure quality service.
The role focuses on developing systems and relationships for the Shared Services Program at CSNPEI. As an experienced Accountant, you will oversee accounting services for multiple organizations while maintaining books, processing payroll, and managing financial records. Your leadership will be pivotal in onboarding up to 23 organizations within your initial year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Launch In-House Bookkeeping initiatives and service standards
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable management
• Prepare and send invoices as guided
• Manage payroll preparation and employee records
• Perform monthly reconciliations and financial statement preparation
