Introduction

Our client in the Fruit Industry is looking for an Accountant to join their finance team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and GL entries

 Execute vendor and internal payments accurately and timeously

 Monitor and reconcile bank transactions and account balances

 Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with liquidity planning

 Capturing and review related cost elements & adjustments

 Weekly preparations and review of payments

 Sending of payment remittances

 Reporting on payment summaries

 Managing ledgers for any deductions on payments

 Reconciling and reporting on Balance sheet items, relating to control accounts on standard cost

 Onboarding of new clients, vendors and/ or producers  Various reporting  Any other relevant accounting functions as required
