About the Role

Soori Penang, a luxury heritage hotel, is seeking an
Accountant
to support the day-to-day finance operations of the property. Based on-site in George Town, the role works closely with our Singapore finance team on accounting tasks, monthly reporting, payroll preparation, and overall financial administration for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Support monthly closing activities and prepare financial schedules and reconciliations.
• Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, staff claims, and petty cash.
• Assist with
  payroll preparation
  , including attendance consolidation, allowances, and statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN).
