Accountant Position

Solugrowth is looking for an Accountant for our client who is internationally recognized as the world leader in the design and manufacturing of high-speed equipment.

This is a 3-month contract role with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Purpose:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial and accounting tasks for businesses.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining and reviewing the fixed assets registry quarterly.
2. Reconciliation and maintaining the GRIR – Goods received and goods invoicing account balancing.
3. Reconciliations of various general ledger accounts for review by the Financial Accountant, ensuring all outstanding items are followed and cleared.
4. Perform bank account and cash reconciliations.
5. Recording month-end and year-end journals.
6. Assists with the year-end and finance audits.
7. Update the liquidity planning.
