Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with 3–4 years of experience in the NGO / Non-Profit sector in Pakistan. The role involves managing financial records, donor-funded project accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting in accordance with local laws and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for the NGO
• Manage project-wise and donor-wise accounting and fund utilization
• Record grants, donations, and expenses as per donor agreements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and donors
• Handle bank and cash reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including:
• Income Tax Ordinance, 2001
• Withholding tax and sales tax (where applicable)
• FBR reporting and filings
• SECP / Registrar of Societies requirements (as applicable)
