As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting the accounting team with daily tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is a contract position based in Os Norway. While prior experience is not required, a strong aptitude for numbers and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable duties including invoice processing and payment reconciliations
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Assist with month‑end close processes including balance sheet reconciliations
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Collaborate with other team members to complete ad‑hoc projects as needed
