Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting team in performing daily accounting operations and managing month-end closing activities to ensure timely issuance of cost reports.
• Prepare and analyse monthly product and production costing
• Maintain full set of accounts as well as verify and approve AP, AR, GL journals.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts
• Assist in preparation and coordination of Filing of SST, Imported Services.
• Provide support to Accounts team
• Ensure all cash and banking transactions are accurate, complete and authorised
• Ensure inventory systems are well maintained
• Ensure all internal controls are adhered to and intact
• Propose new controls and process to improve efficiency
• Prepare cashflow forecast
• Work with external tax agent, corporate secretary, bankers and insurance companies
