Position Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial reports to support management decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain books of accounts
• Record and review journal entries and financial transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow
• Prepare bank reconciliations and account schedules
• Compute and file taxes and government-mandated reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
• Assist in budget preparation and cost monitoring
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies
• Safeguard financial records and maintain proper documentation
