Accountant

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

1) Accounting Operations & Division Build-Out

• Oversee and validate day-to-day financial transactions recorded by the team (income, expenses, and other activities) using Excel and/or accounting software.
• Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger, ensuring correct classification, posting, and complete supporting documentation.
• Build, improve, and document accounting workflows (standard templates, control checks, filing system, and reporting cadence).
• Train and mentor the Bookkeeper on proper recording, documentation standards, and internal controls to improve speed and accuracy.

2) Reconciliations & Month-End Close

• Perform and/or oversee bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.
