Accountant (R2R)

Position Overview

• The Senior Accountant – Record to Report (R2R) ensures timely, accurate, and compliant financial closing and reporting. This role is focused in Fixed Assets, General Ledger reconciliations, FX reclassifications. (QAD). It is an individual contributor position, reporting to the Lead Accountant within a Shared Services environment. The role requires bilingual capabilities (Spanish–English).

Key Responsibilities

• Daily processing of financial data.
• Perform financial analyses.
• Preparing account reconciliations.
• Prepare and post manual journal entries, ensure all MJEs contain appropriate supporting documentation.
• Approve balance sheet reconciliations and manual journal entries.
• Proactive reporting and resolution of unreconciled / reconciling items; propose solutions, support the risk assessment of the department and drive the mitigation of the risk.
