Job Description

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A BCom accounting, or related is essential for this role.

  • Must have proven work experience working as a Financial Accountant.

  • Through knowledge of accounting procedures and IFRS.

  • Previous experience working with accounting software, Sage x3 and CaseWare is preferred.

  • Must be computer literate and MS Excel is essential.

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Preparing and reporting monthly management accounts to provide financial insights for decision-making.

  • Processing management journals to ensure accurate and complete financial records.

  • Reconciling and submitting vat on a monthly basis in compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Reviewing standard and actual costs for inaccuracies as part of the cost accounting function.
