Accountant

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to hire a GL Accountant to support its financial reporting and month-end close processes. This role focuses on maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and supporting internal and external reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, P&L statements, month-end closing, and cost reports.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Ensure accuracy of financial transactions through data gathering and analysis.
• Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures.
• Monitor budgets, recommend budget levels, and control expenditures.
• Review financial reports and analyze variances in revenue, expenses, and balance sheets.
• Collaborate with business units to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain strong working relationships across finance and functional teams.
