Job Description for Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the organization's financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This includes overseeing accounting transactions, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including entries in accounts payable, account receivable and general ledger as well as cashflow management.

2.      Prepare payments to vendors through bank portal and liaise with bank as needed

3.      Perform month-end closing including year-end closing procedure as well as financial statements preparation

4.      Prepare and analyze financial reports

5.      Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

6.      Support project teams with procurement processes and project budget monitoring
