Accountant

An established Irish accounting and tax practice is seeking a motivated and independent Accountant based in the Western Cape to join its growing remote team.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring that all accounting and tax compliance requirements are met in line with international standards. This role requires strong communication skills to collaborate with an overseas office and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Maintain accounting records up to the draft financial statement stage.
• Review accounting records and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, including VAT, payroll, corporate tax, and income tax.
