Accountant, Staff - CR

Manage fixed asset accounting and administration with a focus on compliance with Costa Rica’s Free Zone Regime. Ensure accurate asset lifecycle processes and support financial close and audit activities. All actions align with corporate policies and regulatory standards, including PROCOMER and customs requirements. Job duties:

Maintain accurate records of acquisitions, disposals, transfers, impairments, and capitalizations in the corresponding ERP systems for both Corporate and Statutory purposes. 

Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies, free zone regulations, and J-SOX requirements. 

Prepare monthly and quarterly capital expenditure reports. 

Collaborate with project owners to monitor budgets and address variances. 

Record transactions in statutory and corporate subledgers. 

Reconcile discrepancies. 

Run and validate monthly depreciation calculations for Corporate and Statutory.
