Accountant Position - West Rand - Tarlton

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Prepare recons and review all Trial Balance accounts for all companies.
2. Processing monthly journals.
3. Upkeep of petty cash transactions and monthly reconciliation (GWF).
4. Preparation of VAT recons (incl. diesel rebate) and submission of VAT201 on SARS Efiling.
5. Preparation of salary journal and submission of EMP201’s for all companies.
6. Reviewing all journals processed on the accounting system.
7. Preparing reconciliations for all inter-company loan accounts.
8. Managing statements, interest, and penalties with SARS (VAT201 & EMP201).
9. Assisting with annual audit preparation.
