Accountant/Bookkeeper - JHB South

A manufacturing company requires an experienced accountant to manage finance-related duties, including variance analysis, payroll, and ERP systems.

• Prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements and monthly management reports.
• Actively identify, investigate, and resolve financial variances and discrepancies in accounts.
• Process, verify, and manage payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Hands-on operation, data entry, and maintenance of ERP and accounting systems to ensure integrity of financial data.
• Maintain and update journals, ledgers, and supporting documentation for all financial activities.
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing records, explanations, and required schedules.
