Required Skills & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–5 years of accounting experience (based on role level)
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping & accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Prepare and review financial statements & reports
• Handle accounts payable/receivable
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Support tax filings (HST/GST, T2/T1, payroll, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards
