Accounting Analyst

Description
We are looking for an Accounting Analyst for one of our clients to assist with a GL mapping project. This is a great fully remote opportunity that has potential to get extended depending on work output. Client is specifically looking for someone with banking industry accounting experience.


Responsibilities:

• Analyze and align general ledger structures to ensure accurate mapping between accounting frameworks and reporting categories.

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances to maintain the integrity of financial records.

• Review financial transactions related to lending, repossession activity, and deposit accounts to confirm proper accounting treatment.

• Partner with accounting and finance stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve the consistency of ledger reporting.


Requirements
• Experience working in an accounting or analyst position within a banking institution.
