The Role

Accounting analyst, Merchandising. Under the responsibility of the Merchandise Accounting Supervisor within the Operational Accounting team, the Merchandise Accounting Analyst provides accounting services to the stores under their responsibility and analyzes merchandise-related items on the income statement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory discrepancies that are not within norms and implement corrections
• Analyze balance sheet items related to store accounting
• Analyze store income statement expenses versus the budget
• Analyze and adjust the average cost of merchandise
