Accounting Analyst

Job Description:

Our client operates a national biomedical research facility supporting high containment and translational research critical to public health preparedness. They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support end-to-end finance operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing and reconciliation of transactions.
• Prepare month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations and fixed asset accounting.
• Generate accurate monthly management reports, schedules and variance analysis for financial reporting.
• Maintain proper financial documentation, resolve discrepancies and liaise with vendors and customers on payment matters.
