Accounting Assistant

Job Summary:

The Accounting Assistant will support the accounting team with various tasks such as data entry, account reconciliation, and invoicing. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Accounting Assistant must also be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with account reconciliation and financial reporting
• Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets
• Prepare invoices and process payments
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Assist with audit and tax preparation
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned
