Job description:
The Accounting Assistant supports the Finance Department by performing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in financial reporting. This role ensures that accounting transactions are properly recorded, documented, and compliant with company policies and accounting standards. The position also provides general office support as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounting Operations
· Record and encode daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
· Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
· Assist in monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Perform bank and account reconciliations.
· Maintain accurate and organized financial records (physical and digital files).
· Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries.
· Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
