Accounting Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team at Starland International School, Inc.' in East Kamias, Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall accounting operations of the school.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all transactions are properly documented
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliations
• Preparing financial reports and statements as required
• Providing support in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Collaborating with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements
• Adhering to internal controls and accounting policies and procedures
• Performing other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as required
