JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Associate (Inventory) will support the accounting team with routine tasks, with a strong focus on inventory reconciliation. This role will involve monitoring inventory transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, assisting with month-end closings, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform regular inventory cycle count and reconciliations (warehouse and branches), ensuring that inventory records match system records and resolving any discrepancies.
• Verify and reconcile transactions between head office and branches to ensure matching and resolving any discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close, including inventory adjustments and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address inventory discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels are reflected in the accounting and point-of-sales systems.
