Accounting Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role will ensure that all billings to clients are correct and complete, vendors are paid and income are all accounted for in a timely manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

• Manage principal accounts using accounting software and other programs.
• Verify and analyze principal account transactions and ensure that all are accounted to Final Disbursement Account.
• Analyze profitability of vessel's calls, prepare Income Analysis on all appointments, prepare journal entries, and reconcile all principal related accounts and address discrepancies.
• Ensure that all vendors and service providers' receipts and invoices are obtained in a timely manner.
• Close coordination with internal departments to analyze, interpret and correctly account all payments and take-up accruals.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ and corporate policies including exercise duty of care.
