Duties and Responsibilities of an Accounting Intern

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Support the accounting team in data entry, document verification, and filing of financial documents.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.
• Help in the processing of invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Support in audit preparations and compliance documentation.
• Conduct research and data analysis related to financial transactions.
• Assist in updating and maintaining accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting functions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
