Accounting Manager

About the role:

We are seeking a self-motivated Accounting Manager based in our Hornby office. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading the month end close and effective completion of reporting outputs in line with strict Group timetables. The role will liaise with multiple stakeholders across different sites, so effective communication and the ability to influence is key. It will also be responsible for detailed analysis of results and owning the monthly forecast cycle. Tax compliance, establishing an effective control environment and ensuring compliance with company policies will be key.

Also note that Group accounting periods always start on the 1st of each month, hence there will be a requirement for reimbursed weekend / public holiday working as required in this role to complete month end close and reporting requirements.
